If you have a good gaming rig, which is better than Xbox Series X at 2K (Xbox Series X is 2K upscaled to 4k), then obviously Steam version is recommendation, but if you want to play on both platforms, choose Xbox/Store version. On my PC crashes are extremely rare, so I am curious as to your source for that claim.The best of all worlds is to get a Quest 2 for standalone and PCVR, along with a PSVR2 for its exclusives. PCVR gets you modding (and adult content if you're into that), whereas PSVR2 will likely have some bigger budget exclusive games. Standalone Quest is handy for exercise apps, and stuff to play while travelling etc. It’s the same as base PS4, except for the faster loading times. No improvements at all for PS4 pro or PS5. And while you can transfer games from PS4 to PS5, you can’t go from PS5 to PS4, so if you play the ps5 version you can’t continue that game in VR. 3. DaveJPlays.
